Petal Passion Suite

Petal Passion Suite has to be my all time favorite suite from the Occasions Catalog!!!!  There are sooo many things you can do with this!

I made these 6 birthday cards using this fantastic suite!!   They were very easy to create.  Just a littel fussy cutting for some, but these Stampin' Up products have made it quick and easy.  I did incorporate some "non-Stampin' Up" products from my stash but I am all for using what you have!!

So simple to color some of the awesome DSP, cut it out and create your card as I did with this one!!!

Or using the stamps and dies in the bundle to make this card....

Epic Celebration Stamp Set

We all need a way to stretch our dollars especially when it comes to making cards! What better than a FREE stamp set.... Epic Celebrations is a FREE stamp set only available until 3/31/2018! Purchase $50 in supples/stamps and you can have it for FREE!!

Designer Series Paper....

Stampin' Up has some fantastic DSP (Designer Series Paper)!!!  Here is a project for Valentines Day that uses mainly DSP and a few other things you probably have in your stash already.

This awesome exploding box which is super easy to make and you only need DSP,  some adhesive, stickers, heart framelits, and a score board!  Who doesn't have that in their stash.  If you don't have a score board, you can always use a paper trimmer with the cutting channel as the score channel......

Here are the details:

12 x 12 sheet of DSP (I used Painted with Love).  Score it at 4" on all sides

5 7/8" square piece of cardstock (I used a pink scrap from my stash but you could use Melon Mambo). Score at 7/8" on all sides.

6 x 6" Power Pink cardstock to create the mini box on the inside.  Score at 2" on all sides

3 1/2" square piece of cardstock (I used the same pink scrap as the lid, but you could use Gold Foil). Score at 5/8" on all sides.

5 of the largest hearts in the Sweet & Sassy framelits cut from DSP.  Score in half.

Several gold foil heart themed stickers.  I had these in my stash. They are from Paper Wishes.(You could use the Painted Love Gold Vinyl Stickers.)

1 smaller heart from the Sweet & Sassy framelits  from DSP. for the top of the mini box.

Once you have all the pieces cut and scored, you will then need to cut the corners off forming a triangle at the corners.Next score the middle of those triangles. (see example photo).

Then you fold all the scroe lines according to the picture. When you get ready to make the lid, you need to miter the corner pieces.  Be sure to cut into the squares formed at the corners and not the lid sides. (see example photo).  You will want to use either Fast Fuse or Tear N Tape.

Now that you are an expert box and lid maker, repeat these steps for the mini box on the inside.  Use either Fast Fuse or Tear N Tape to adhere the mini box in the center of the middle square.

Embellish the inside of the large box with the gold foil stickers. Fold the hearts in half.  Glue one side and place it on the box lid.  Continue glueing one side and place on tope of the folded heart.  Keep doing this until you get to the last heart.  On the last one, you will glue it on both sides.  you should place it on the edge of your Silicone Mat and then glue one side to the heart stack, carefully remove the mat and glue the other side next to the stack making a fanned heart as shown in the pictures above.

You are done!  Now you have a beautiful sturdy box to house any valentine gift.

Think about using this for other occasions just changing up the paper and decorations......

Happy Stamping.

Let's not forget about the Annual Catalog...

The Happy Birthday die is beautiful and so easy to use. I needed a quick birthday card for my great niece and this did the trick!

Let's make a card with FREE products!

The cards, envelopes, and some of the ribbon are FREE products. These are Sale-a-bration items which you can get for free with a $50 purchase per free item.

LOTS OF HAPPY CARD KIT - Deconstructed!!

I have finally finished all the cards in this kit and I still have lot's of supplies left from the kit!  I stopped after 24 cards - whew!  I am really pleased with these cards.  They are all 4.25 x 5.5" which is a standard A2 mailing size card. I have lots to share about this kit deconstruction so here is the scoop.

Extra Supplies you will need from your stash:

6 Whisper White cardbases

5 Basic Black cardbases

5 Sahara Sand cardbases

Clear sequins of various sizes

Powder Pink Ink

Sahara Sand Ink

Wink of Stella

16 White Envelopes size A2

5 - 4 x 5.25" Whisper White Card Inserts (for the black cards)

Fast Fuse

Fine Tip Liquid Glue

Paper Trimmer

Nuvo Drops:  Black Crystal, Clear Crystal, Clear Green, Clear Pink

I know that seems like a lot.  Except for the Nuvo Drops, you probably have it all in your supply stash already.

Now for what you will have left over after making these fabulous 24 cards:

10" Lemon Lime Twist Ombre Ribbon

4 - Sahara Sand Hexagon mats

3 - 3 x 3" White mats

2 - 1.5 x 2.5 Print mats

3 - 5/8" x 3 3/8" Stripe mats

8 - 2 x 3.5" Sahara Sand mats

7 - 2 1/2" x 4 5/8" Sahara Sand mats

1/4 x 3 1/4" gold strip

I grouped these pictures by like sentiments.  I cut apart all the cards elements that were not sized for mailing. I saved ALL the gold after taking out what was pre-cut, I cut down the left over for more strips.

I opened up all the small envelopes and cut out the striped insides to use as card mats, only throwing away the flaps.

I cut the card bases in half and used them for mats as well.

I also have all the instructions for you to print out in a PDF document complete with individual pictures!!! Click HERE for the file!

Please give me feedback on these!  I would really like to know if this is something you are interested in - getting more cards from your kits.  If you leave me a comment  by 1/21/2018 by 11:59 PM about this type of post, I will enter your name in a drawing for a set of 5 of these cards!

Lots Of Happy - Card 1

This is the first card of 23 and counting..... This Lots of Happy Card Kit is a super way to get your card stash jumpstarted for the year!  I centered all the elements on the card instead of concentrating them closer to the top as the kit suggests.  I only added 5 sequins from my stash to give it a little more shine.  I am still putting card elements together so stay tuned and hopefully if my day job slacks up a bit, I will have them completed for you with instructions.  The kit originally makes 20 cards.  However, only 4 of the twenty were sized for mailing.  ALL of the cards I am making will be sized for mailing!  I have only added a few sheets of Whisper White, Sahara Sand, and Basic Black cardstock cut in half to make the additional full size cards.

Let me know what you think of this one......
